Community Investment Strategies Wins Multiple FAME Awards

Bayshore Village Wins Best Architectural Design and Best Public Relations Campaign FREEHOLD, N.J., March 8, 2018 It was an exciting evening for Community Investment Strategies (CIS), Inc. at the annual Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ) Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence (FAME) Awards.

The 80’s themed night kicked off with great food, drink and networking. Encouraged to wear attire from that era, attendees fashioned 80’s classics from leg warmers and high hair to Miami Vice blazers and mustaches.

The FAME awards honor both companies and individual members of SBACNJ for their excellence in marketing accomplishments. Located in Lakewood, SBACNJ is a chartered local chapter of both the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is one of the largest local trade associations in the area.

“We are truly honored,” said Christiana Foglio, owner and chief executive officer of CIS. “Winning for Bayshore Village is especially meaningful because the community is part of the rebuilding effort of the shore communities after Superstorm Sandy, which helped many residents return to their home in Port Monmouth”.

Bayshore Village, a Heritage Village Community and one of CIS’s signature age restricted communities in Monmouth County won two FAME awards – Best Architectural Design and Best Public Relations Campaign. Rebuilt after Superstorm Sandy, Bayshore Village incorporates the latest in energy efficiency practices and is constructed to withstand weather related events. Consisting of 110 apartment homes for income qualified seniors age 62+, the community features modern design, luxury amenities, and a host of activities and services.

Project Manager and Vice President of CIS, Barbara K. Schoor added “Bayshore Village is the culmination of a successful public-private partnership working together with the Township of Middletown to bring back much needed housing for seniors in Monmouth County. Now equipped with essential resiliency features, residents enjoy the best amenity of all – peace of mind.”

Heritage Village at Oakhurst won the FAME award for Best Landscaping of an Affordable Housing Community. The 96-apartment-home community for active adults 55+ features a park like setting with a variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers surrounding the property. Residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle and are close to the best beaches in New Jersey.

In addition, Ivette Landaverry won for Property Manager of the Year. “As property manager of Heritage Village at Oakhurst, Ivette has a remarkable track record of providing exceptional resident relations.” said Jennifer Smyth, Regional Supervisor, CIS Management. “Coupled with her professionalism and passion for success, Ivette is a great asset to the CIS team.” Smyth added.
